Homework 10.10.2025

Maths Homework:

This week, the children have been learning about number bonds, specifically which two numbers add together to make 10. 

Practise using your fine motor skills to write down your numbers from 1 - 10. 

 

Literacy Homework:

 

This week, the sound of the week has been 'p'.

Have a practice writing the letter 'p' and see if there are any items with the letter 'p' around your house. 

Challenge: Test your knowledge on your phonics sounds by revisiting on YouTube Jolly Phonics songs for the sounds: 's, a, t, i and p'. 

 

Topic Homework Challenge Extension:

This week, the children have been learning more about dinosaurs.

Specifically watching scenes from 'The Land Before Time'.

The children have been using watercolours to create beautiful landscape pictures of scenes from this show. 

Challenge the children to see if they can create a landscape picture from another scene of their choice from the show, which can be found on YouTube.
