Children's Mental Health Week
We have been celebrating Mental Health week in Nursery and enjoyed watching a video about 'Belonging'. We drew how we feel and talked with our friends about what makes us happy.

We enjoyed celebrating Children's Mental Health Week in Reception this week. We watched the video of 'Belonging' and enjoyed discussing what we like about ourselves. We found this a little tricky but after sharing with our friends, we thought of some great things that we like about ourselves and others. We made a card for our friend and enjoyed talking about and drawing what makes us happy.
In Year 1 we enjoyed celebrating Mental Health Week by thinking about how our actions make others feel. We watched a video on kindness and talked about what things we have done to be kind to others. Then we chose a kindness act card and tried our best to carry out the act of kindness that day. Finally we all got given a friend in our class and had to say something kind about them.
Year 2
In Year 2 we enjoyed talking about our feelings. We talked about how a healthy body brings a healthy mind. We worked together to discuss all the different ways being outdoors helps us. Please follow the link below to find out more!
