Please find below a series of tasks to complete today while our school is closed.

This week we are starting our new topic LPS Happy Healthy Helpers. Below you will find our learning topic for this term. This would be a great opportunity have a think about some of the themes in the topic and maybe to do some research on some of the questions from the different areas of learning in the topic.

TOPIC:

1.This week we are going to start looking in to the word ‘HAPPY’

Can you find something in your home that makes you happy? Think about why it makes you happy? How does it make you feel?  Plan what you are going to say about it when you bring it in and share it with the class on Friday.

2. Draw a picture of yourself in your happy place.

Can you add a little more to your picture by writing where it is and why it makes you happy?

NUMERACY:

3. This week we are focusing on numbers and ordering numbers. Practise writing your numbers 1-20. You could use pens, chalks or even water and paint brushes on the walls or ground outdoors. Practise ordering numbers. Get an adult to give you 4 numbers and see if you can put them in order from smallest to biggest. You could even make your own number cards and then choose 4 to put in the correct order.
