Numeracy

We have been learning to form numbers correctly, ordering numbers and place value.

We have been carrying out challenges in the maths corner.

This week we are focussing on place value and partitioning numbers.

We are finding number bonds this week.

We are learning about coins and their values. We are learning to find totals of coins.

We have been making amounts in different ways.

We have been collecting data on what our favourites fruits are, then we drew graphs and answered questions about our graph.

This week our focus is measure. We are measuring length. First we are using non-standard units to measure.

We are learning about symmetry this week. We have been finding the lines of symmetry of 2D shapes.
