Project 5 - Summer Time

Summer Time

This half term our topic is Summer Time. We will have discussions like 'what is summer?' and 'what can you tell me about summer?'. This is where the children will have the opportunity to tell us what they already know so that we can further develop their knowledge. Over the course of the half term they will participate in lots of fun activities where they will learn in more detail about thing related to summer and why we can only do certain things in the summer and not all year round.

To kick start this topic, the children had small group discussions with the staff so that we could find out what they already know about the summer. They came up with lots of information and facts about the summer and were able to tell us what they wear and do in the summer.

They came up with lots of lovely ideas and look forward to learning more about the topic in the coming weeks.
