Reception

Reception loved celebrating Empathy Day. We started the day with the assembly and explored what empathy means to us. We watched the clip from Inside Out where Sadness comforts Bing Bong, and discussed how Sadness showed empathy. We drew pictures to represent our different emotions in our bodies and we fed the worry monster our worries! We loved listening to the story Rubys Worry. We learnt that if we talk about our worries, they get smaller and sometimes even go away!
