What Can You See in Summer?

This term our topic is What Can You See in Summer? The first thing that we will do in small groups is create a spider diagram during a discussion of 'what is summer?' and 'what can you tell me about summer?'. This is where the children will have opportunity to tell us what they already know so we can further develop their knowledge. They will participate in lots of fun activities where they will learn in more detail about things related to summer and why we can only do certain things in the summer and not throughout the rest of the year.

To start the topic off, the children had small group discussions with the staff to find out what they already knew about the summer. They came up with lots of information and facts about the summer and were able to tell us what they wear and do in the summer.

They came up with lots of lovely ideas and look forward to learning more about the topic in the coming weeks.
