Please find below a series of tasks for you to complete today while the school is closed. You can choose one or you can do them all. I am looking forward to seeing your lovely work. 

Maths

With your family, can you go on a shape hunt around your home and find different shapes to create a fantastic picture of your own. It could be a flower, robot or even a rocket. If you are feeling very creative, how about tracing the shapes to make your lovely picture. 

We have been very busy in nursery learning our numbers. Can you practice counting our under-water sea creatures on by clicking here.

Literacy

The sound we are learning this week is 's'. Can you write the sound on the floor outside using chalks or even create a rainbow by tracing over the sound using different colours.

Topic

As part of our topic Welcome to LPS! We will be learning all about ourselves and what makes us special. With your family I would like you to find a mirror and look closely to what you can see on your face.  Can you draw yourself? You can use paint, pencils or even a paper plate and different materials. It is up to you. I am looking forward to seeing your great portraits.
