Good morning Year 5!

Please find below a series of tasks available for you to complete today while our school is closed. 

Last week we started to talk about our new topic for the term - The Black Gold of Wales! Below you will find our Learning Project for this term. Today would be a great opportunity to do some research about our new topic, or challenge yourself further and select some of the questions from the areas of learning to research and answer.

1. Topic Research

If you are completing topic research, think about the following:

• What do I already know about the Victorians and the industrial revolution in Wales?
• How could I find more information?
• What resources do I have available to help me?
• Decide how I would like to present this information.

2. Learning Project Questions (PDF below)

Read through the Learning Project map with your family and think about the following:

• What do I already know about Queen Victoria and her reign?
• Which Learning questions am I excited to find out more about today?
• Which areas of learning would I like to consider?
• What resources may I have to help me? 

3. Maths Task - Multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000

This week we will be focussing on multiplying  by 10, 100 and 1000. Please follow this link where you will find learning resources and activities to support your learning.
