As part of our topic about food, we are learning how and where food grows. I would like you to draw your favourite fruit or vegetable and find out some information about where it grows. Is it under the ground, on a tree or on a plant? Can you them tell me why it is important to eat fruit and vegetables? I am looking forward to seeing your videos.

 

Literacy Sound of the week o

Outside can you practise writing the sound o, using chalk. How many can you write in 1 minute, using a sand timer? 

 

Can you draw a picture that begins with the sound o?

 

Giglets School Code- llangyfelach. Red balloon. Use your login to look at the story book 'Eating Fruit'.

Cut out a bear mask and colour. With your family use your bear mask and ask baby bear questions related to the story. 

 

Character interview with baby bear. 

What fruit did baby bear like to eat?

How was the bear feeling?

Why was he feeling..... 

 

 

 

Maths Pattern

Can you make a pattern, using fruit or vegetables? Have a little look with your family in your kitchen and choose your favourite fruits or vegetables. Here are some examples of patterns: apple, pear, apple pear or potato, carrot, pepper, potato, carrot, pepper. It is up to you what pattern you want to make. I am looking forward to seeing your lovely prints.
