Swansea Music Service has launched a competition for all Swansea pupils to enter!
You have to tell them about someone you think is a legend!
This person could be famous OR it could be someone you know!
You can use the internet to find out interesting information about this person.
You can present your information however you want! You could design a poster, compose a song, write a poem... the choice is yours!
You can complete your entry by hand and give it to Miss Evans or you can complete your work electronically and email it to Miss Evans at EvansR348@Hwbcymru.net
Make sure you include your name, age and school on your entry!
The deadline for entries is Monday 17th May 2021!
The winner of the competition will receive a signed Osprey rugby jersey!
Good Luck!
You might remember back in October, the Creative Crew set you all a task to produce a drawing that represented one of our 28 visions and values! You created some amazing designs, you are all so talented! Our school foyer is going to look amazing!
John from Bright Ideas (who painted our school toilets) and his team have taken all of your designs and are ready to turn them into a fantastic mural!
This will be happening very soon so keep looking at this page for up to date photos of the progress!
Tonia Antoniazzi MP would like to invite you to take part in her annual schools Christmas Card competition. This is an opportunity for you to to design Tonia’s Gower constituency Christmas card, and the winner's design will be printed into an actual Christmas card. The winners will also have copies of the card to give to friends and family.
The card needs to be A4 size, it can be portrait or landscape. You must include lots of colour and it must be happy and cheerful!
Please ensure your name and year group is written on the back of your design in pencil. You need to hand your design to Miss Evans or a member of the Creative Crew by Thursday 19th November at the latest!
Good luck and enjoy!
We have decided that the entrance foyer to our school could do with brightening up, and as you did a fabulous job of re-designing our toilets, we are going to let you take charge!
Once again, we are going to be working in collaboration with Tony from Bright Ideas to redesign the entrance foyer.
Previously, we invited all members of our community to identify a word that is characteristic of our vision for LPS and qualities that we aim to develop for all.
We would like you to produce a picture, logo or cartoon that represents a word from our
LPS Visions and Values.
Click here to see the 28 words you chose.
Your teacher will assign you a word and you need to use your creative skills to produce a fantastic design that represents that word!
You must draw your designs in pencil. You can colour them in if you wish, however, we can’t guarantee that the colours you choose will be the colours that will be used on the walls. Your design must be no bigger than A4.
Our LPS Creative Crew will choose winning designs, and the Bright Ideas team will recreate these as murals on our walls.
Hope you have lots of fun creating your design!
Our Vicar Anthony and Miss Evans thought it would be lovely for the children of LPS to create some beautiful Harvest artwork to be displayed in the entrance of the church!
If you would like to take part, please complete your art work and hand it in to Miss Evans or a member of the Creative Crew no later than Friday 16th October.
Your work needs to be bright and colourful, and it needs to represent the importance of Harvest and Giving Thanks. You can use felt pens, paints, pastels, crayons, colouring pencils or any materials you like to complete your work! You could even create a collage!
Remember to pop your name and year group on the back of your work. See Miss Evans or the Creative Crew if you have any questions! Enjoy!
