Frank the farmer is in a bit of bother. He has muddled all the food orders for the people of Llangyfelach. The children wanted to help Frank the farmer sort the problem. They did this by sorting different food into sources of meat or plant. 

Frank the farmer notice his carrots in his field are not growing, so he sent a letter to the nursery children at Llangyfelach school to help solve the problem. The children did an experiment  to see which carrot top would grow in water and one with out water. They then checked the progress after a few days to see if any tiny shoots had appeared.
