Project 1- Drip, Drop, Drip

Splash!

This project teaches children about water, including floating and sinking, freezing and melting and why it is important for living things to stay hydrated. The children have giving lots of different  examples for what they they water is used for. 

 

To start this topic, the children and staff had small group discussions to activate the children's prior knowledge with regards to water. They were able to tell us some of the different things that we use water for and also why water is so important to us. 

 

They came up with lots of great ideas!
