Swansea Egypt Centre

Below are pictures of our class trip to the Egypt Centre, in Swansea University.

 

We enjoyed carrying out numerous activities such as:

  • Role playing the story of the Devine Family: Osiris, Seth and Horus
  • Weighing of the heart 
  • Performing their own mummification ritual
  • Learning about ancient Egyptian clothing, how clothes were made and what certain members of society wore - as well as trying outfits on themselves!
  • Writing in hieroglyphs

 

We hope you enjoy the pictures, as much as we enjoyed the activities.
