Tracking & Planning Reviews

  • Staff plan weekly during their PPA session using our planning system which incorporates our tracking system - Insight. 

  • Staff utilise our tracking system as a starting point for planning in order to maximise the impact for individual and groups of learners. 

  • Therefore, our tracking system is live assessment of current performance of learners across the school, providing next steps for all learners, in all Areas of Learning.

  • SLT scrutinise assessments by triangulating outcomes in workbooks, and analysing planning aligned with assessments inputted.

  • The SLT periodically track learner groups through the school to inform discussions at Performance Management meetings, Workbook Scrutiny Feedback, ADDs sessions and Pupil Review Meetings.

  • Pupils are placed into overlapping Intervention, Support and Boost Groups such as:

    • Wellcomm

    • Speech & Language

    • Popat

    • Phonics

    • Rapid Reading

    • DCD

    • Literacy Boost

    • Numeracy Boost

    • Wellbeing Support

    • Behaviour Support

    • More Able and Talented Challenge

  • Additional to universal Provision and Intervention Groups, we also have additional provision groups that receive intervention for the school and external services.  These services provide extra support to aid progression and assessment for learners.
