Making Porridge

 

The children used describing words to talk about how the porridge looked and felt when milk was added. They then discovered the porridge had changed when it was cooked. They shared their ideas to the class and used words such as, wet, sticky, hot and slimy.

 

The children enjoyed discovering what will happen to the Gingerbread Man's legs when dipped into cold and warm water in one minute. Which water would dissolve the Gingerbread man the quickest?They made predictions and used words to describe to their friends. Dissolve, sink, crumble and soggy.
