Project 4 - Are Eggs Alive?

Are Eggs Alive?

 

This term our topic is Are Eggs Alive? The first thing that we will be discussing in this topic is 'what are eggs?' and 'where do they come from?' We will also be learning about a variety of different things including the following lines of enquiry: 

  • Ducks and ducklings 
  • Eggs
  • Easter celebrations 
  • Blossom and spring flowers 
  • Weather 

 

This topic will engage and interest the children in a number of different ways and they will learn new things whilst having fun with their friends. 


To start this new topic, staff and children had small group discussions to find out what the children already know about eggs. They were able to come up with lots of information about eggs, their uses and where they come from. 
 

They came up with lots of great ideas and look forward to learning more about the topic.
