Plop the owl flew to school to meet the children in nursery. They were very excited to find Plop the owl in their class. Plop was feeling lonely, so the children took Plop on an adventure to find his friends. Where are they all hiding?

The children were excited to find out how nocturnal animals find food in the dark.Together as a class we shared our ideas.The children agreed that the animals sniff to hunt for food. Mrs Harris-Griffiths passed around different pots of food and we guessed, by using our sense of smell. Then we placed the pot in front of the picture card.
