Target 3

  • All staff have received training in the use of the new LPS Progression Models for each AoLE.  Regular professional discussions have taken place to support their understanding of the links between the progression model, Curriculum for Wales, Assessment and the LPS Learning projects.

  • Workbook Scrutiny, Self/Peer Workbook Scrutiny and Shared Understanding of Progression sessions have enabled all staff to review their implementation of the new LPS Curriculum and its impact on learning across the school.

  • Most classes are implementing the LPS Learning Projects effectively with a widening range of skill application and deepening knowledge of concepts.

  • All staff have received training regarding the use of 'Insight', our new tracking and assessment tool, which utilises our LPS Progression Models.  This has provided an effective strategy for measuring progress across the school - ensuring LPS has a shared understanding of progress.

  • AoLE Leaders, Pupil Voice Groups and the Monitoring Committee have undertaken Review Fortnight activities to evaluate the impact of our Progression Models and Learning Projects across the school.

  • PVGs have met with the Governing Body to present and discuss progress made against their action plan and their next steps for improvement.
