Nursery children looked at some pictures of different celebrations. We then talked about how we can make the King's party better. The children together thought it would be nice to make lanterns, colourful decorations and come to the King's party in fancy dress.

Together as a class we talked about the different celebrations within our families and then looked at some pictures to see if they look the same over time. 

Little Red Riding Hood is running late for the King's party. The children were kind to help her find her way around the woods using the map the children had drawn. Little Red Riding Hood listened to the positioning language and followed a trail around the woods to find the Kings castle in time for the special party.
