Our Aims
To ensure that all our children progress in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
For children to enjoy learning, becoming independent, creative and reflective thinkers with the skills, knowledge and personal qualities needed for life.
To encourage self - motivation and self - discipline and make positive contributions.
To build a unique, inclusive learning community in which the children’s natural enthusiasm to learn is fostered - developing lively enquiring minds.
To be a place where partnership and teamwork lead to a high quality of achievement for all which is celebrated by children, parents, staff and the community.
To help children understand the communities in which we live, by developing a respect, an understanding and tolerance of different ways of life.
These aims will only be achieved if:
there is a shared commitment by children, parents and the wraparound provision
a high-quality care is provided as is the right of every child
effective child care environment is achieved by promoting positive behaviour
We ask you to share with us a commitment to a quality experience for your child.
As a Parent I will:
Notify us as soon as possible of changes to booking arrangements
Encourage positive behaviour whilst at our child care setting
Support this agreement and any guidance necessary to ensure smooth running of our setting
Participate in clear lines of communication between home and setting in order that information is shared effectively
Participate in discussions concerning progress, behaviour and wellbeing
Act upon advice that is offered from our child care staff in order to collaborate effectively to improve your child’s holistic development
Communicate with all staff in a respectful manner
Staff @ LPS Wraparound will:
Keep clear lines of communication between home and setting in order that information is shared effectively
Adhere to all policies and procedures in order to provide the best possible care for all our children
Support this agreement and offer guidance to parents when necessary to ensure smooth running of our setting
Provide information regarding progress, behaviour and wellbeing
Offer advice to parents, when required, in order to improve our children’s holistic development
Contact parents to collect their child if they are deemed unwell, injured, distressed or have caused distress to others.
Arrange review meetings if any child is regularly distressed or is causing distress to others in order to provide the best possible care for all
Communicate with all members of our community in a respectful manner
Children will:
Listen carefully to others
Participate and engage in all learning experiences
Treat others, their play and equipment with respect
Talk calmly to others
Behave positively to others during their time within our setting
Treat everyone with respect and enjoy my time
