Health and wellbeing is embedded in to daily routines through mindfulness, check-ins and physical activity. As a result, pupils are more able to manage emotions, build resilience and stay engaged in learning.  Plans for pupil-led playground wellbeing zones are underway, with both calm and active areas being developed. This will support self-regulation, inclusion and increased physical activity for all pupils.

Staff training on ‘Pause Points’ has created a consistent approach to mindfulness. This is helping pupils regulate emotions, particularly during transitions, leading to calmer and more focused classrooms.  Monitoring by the Triple H team ensures Pause Points are used consistently, with further pupil feedback planned. This strengthens whole-school practice and ensures all pupils receive reliable wellbeing support.

After-school sports clubs have been expanded across year groups. This increases participation, supports physical development and promotes healthy lifestyles.

Forest School provision is in development, with staff training ongoing, this provides valuable outdoor learning experiences, supporting confidence, independence and wellbeing.

Weekly pupil voice meetings ensure initiatives reflect pupils’ needs. This leads to more relevant provision and greater pupil engagement.  The ‘Turn Your Frown Upside Down’ club attendance has reduced overtime, therefore demonstrating the positive impact this provision has had on wellbeing across the school.

Plans are in place to undertake a wellbeing audit to generate feedback on outdoor spaces. This will help inform planning to create environments that support pupils’ emotional and physical wellbeing.
