Have you joined our LPS Lotto?

You’ve probably heard all about it by now – on the 6th April, we’ll be holding our very first lottery draw! 

For just £1 a week, you can be entered into our weekly draw, with a guaranteed prize for a supporter every time. Even better, you’ll also be entered into a separate draw each week with a chance to win £25,000! With better odds than the National Lottery, and cheaper tickets too, it’s definitely a lottery you should consider taking part it. 

Now, you may be wondering, why have we decided to do this? Well, 40% of all proceeds go back into the school. This means everyone wins – you have the chance to win money, and the PTFA get the opportunity to give your child the best opportunities to learn as they can. 

Last year, almost £8000 was donated to the school by the PTFA, going towards resources and equipment that give the children a better learning experience. There were also two Valentine’s Day movie nights which raised over £450, Santa’s Grotto which raised over £350 and of course, our popular Summer Fate which raised an incredible £1082.96. The PTFA work hard to raise vital funds that go straight back into the school. 

In 2019, the PTFA aim to have even bigger and better fundraisers, and by supporting the lottery draw we'll have the opportunity to make that happen. You can purchase tickets in confidence that both you and your child will benefit. Fundraisers like these can’t happen without all of your support. 

So why should you be a part? Other than the obvious reason that there’s money to be won, your odds of winning are higher than other lotteries! The Health Lottery only donate a meagre 20.2p to good causes per pound, so you know by contributing to our lottery that the school will receive almost double what they donate to their causes. You can also see the effects of this lottery for yourself – the more money raised, the better the resources and learning tools the children will have. It’s a no brainer – there's no reason not to join us!
