Instruction writing: How to build a snowman

Instruction skeleton.

This week we are learning about instruction writing. We received a letter from Eric the Elf asking us to write a set of instructions. We discussed as a class what instructions were and discussed what we would have instructions for. We looked at the instruction skeleton and decided to write a set of instructions on how to build a snow. We had read the story ‘The Snowman’ and decided to watch the clip of when he was built.
