Policy & Procedure Reviews

  • As a result of the LPS Review System, our procedures, policies and educational approaches may require amendment or refinement in order to impact positively on standards and wellbeing.

  • Policy & Procedure Review meetings are held with the relevant group within the community periodically throughout the year.

  • Where required, these policies and procedures are ratified and agreed with relevant members of the school community.

  • For example, Lesson observations and Workbook Scrutiny identified the need to improve and refine the following policies and approaches:

    • AfL Booklet

    • Numeracy Scheme

    • Writing Scheme

    • Oracy Booklet Continuum

    • Weekly Planning

    • Presentation Policy

  • All statutory documentation and policies are reviewed annually by the Monitoring Committee, an agreed delegation from the full Governing Body.  Outcomes from reviews are shared with the full Governing Body.
