Borfa 2023 Letter

Borfa House (24th – 28th April)

Dear Parents,

With our visit to Borfa coming soon, I have put together a few reminders for you to help prepare for the visit.

  • Date for final payment: Monday 24th April
  • Waterproof coat - The weather forecast is always unreliable; therefore, please pack a suitable coat that can be worn in the rain
  • Sun cream / hat
  • Outdoor shoes (old trainers, wellies) - It is likely that shoes will become wet and muddy, so it may be worth packing at least two pairs of trainers.
  • Torch
  • Spending money - We suggest taking £5-£10 spending money, as we will be visiting the local shop for ice-cream
  • Dirty clothes - It may be a good idea to pack a large plastic bag to put wet/dirty clothes in to bring home.
  • Indoor shoes/slippers - Outdoor shoes are not allowed to be worn in the house, please bring a pair of clean trainers or slippers to wear when indoors.
  • Clothing - While most of the activities are relatively clean, it is possible that clothes may get muddy and wet, therefore it is not advisable to wear good clothes. We would suggest:
    • one set of clothing to be worn each day
    • 1/2 sets of spare clothing – ‘just in case!’
  • Medication   If you need to send any form of medication for your child, you must complete a School Medication Form (available from the office or school website). All medication must be clearly marked with your child’s name. All medication and forms must be handed to Mr Williams or Miss Howells on the Monday morning (24th April).

All bedding and pillows are provided. Mobile phones, i-Pads, etc. are not permitted. We will have your numbers and will contact you if necessary. If you need to contact us urgently, the contact number for Borfa is 01792 390481. We will be leaving school at approximately 10:00 on the Monday. We will return on Friday at around 2:00pm, the office will text when we are approximately 30 minutes away from school.

If you have any other questions, please get in touch.

Thank you

Mr Williams
