Remembrance Day

Today the children celebrated remembrance day by listening to a story and then independently chose activities to explore in class. The children enjoyed learning about the meaning of the poppy, as a symbol of remembrance. 

Remembrance story

We used the tweezers to collect the pom-poms to place on the poppy.

We had fun making a poppy biscuit and had a poem to take home.
