This week in phonics we are learning the letter sound d.

Your homework is to:

  1. Say the Sound:

    • Practise saying the sound /d/ like in dog, duck, dig.

  2. Read These Words:

    • Try reading these words out loud:
      dog, duck, dig, dad, den

  3. Write Some Words:

    • Write at least 3 words with the /d/ sound.

    • Say the sounds as you write them.

⭐ Challenge:

  • Can you write a sentence using d words?
    For example: The dog dug a den.

  • Don’t forget a capital letter, finger spaces, and a full stop.
