Welcome to Reception
A warm welcome to Reception! Below you will find an outline of our key routines. We look forward to sharing our learning experiences with you! You can access them by clicking on the project icons below, where you will find a range of photos, videos and pieces of work.
Geoff & Dewi are sent home on a Friday and returned on Monday.
P.E is on a Friday afternoon during the Autumn Term. Children will need to come dressed in their PE kit.
Welly Wednesday will take place every Wednesday afternoon. Please remember to dress your child in suitable clothing as we will be outside in all weather conditions.
Homework will be given out every Friday - please see the folders below for the latest homework. Any homework questions, please let me know.
Our topic this term is 'LPS Spring Festival'. Mr Burnell has asked us to organise the biggest, brightest and most beautiful spring festival that celebrates all the cultures within our wonderful community. We are looking forward to visiting Llangyfelach Church to learn more about celebrations and festivals and then holding our very own LPS Spring Festival. Children are to bring in a healthy morning snack each day, such as fruit, crackers, or yoghurt tubes. Please label all pots/snacks with your child's name and make sure they are easily accessible to your child.
Working alongside me this year will be Miss Ang. We are excited to get started on our learning projects! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.
