As part of our LPS Matrix approach, we activated our prior knowledge about the topic, discussed what we would like to learn about, created higher-order thinking questions to explore throughout and finally identified the skills we would need throughout our topic.
Here are the questions that we thought of collaboratively:
- What were the diets like for a tudor or stuart whether they were rich or poor?
- How do the laws of today compare to the laws in the Tudor and Stuart period?
- How might the buildings today compare to the ones in the Tudor and Stuart era?
- How did the lives of a rich tudor/stuart compare to the life of a poor tudor/stuart?
- What is the history of Henry VIII and each of his six wives?
- How much has religion changed since the Tudor and Stuart times?
- How has today’s monarchy changed in comparison to the Tudor and Stuart times?
- What did the daily life look like for a Tudor/Stuart?
- How have everyday objects changed since the Tudor and Stuart period?
- What might be the history of Owain Glyndwr?
