To provide a caring, secure and stimulating environment where all pupils are inspired to become lifelong learners within the 21st Century.
In order to realise our vision and mission, at LPS we aim to develop and encourage self-motivation, independence and reflective thinking, in order to make positive contributions within the communities in which we live. We provide an environment where partnership and teamwork lead to high quality achievement for all which is celebrated by children, parents, staff, governors and the community.
We invited all members of our community to identify a word that is characteristic of our vision for LPS and qualities that we aim to develop for all.
At LPS we are inspired to be...
proud | respectful | healthy | confident |
problem solvers | collaborative | ambitious | inclusive |
role models | considerate | independent | sympathetic |
resilient | inquisitive | empathetic | positive thinkers |
honest | eco-friendly | digitally confident | enterprising |
enthusiastic | reflective | active | creative |
caring | resourceful | a team player | Cymru am Byth |
This code of conduct was decided upon and agreed by all children and staff at LPS to ensure we realise our vision, mission and values.
Our Community Agreement was co-constructed with members of our whole school community.
This is an agreement made between the school, pupils, parents, governors and community. It aims to outline the effective ways which we can all agree to work together to foster and maintain respectful and pro-active relationships in our shared vision for excellence for all. Parents/Carers are asked to complete this agreement with/for their child on entry to LPS, as part of the admission pack.
Our vision, mission and aims will only be achieved if:
there is a shared commitment by pupils, parents and the school to be collaborative, considerate and caring.
we collectively work towards our 28 agreed aspirations, ensuring a quality experience for all.
We will request that all Staff, Governors, and Pupils (Year 2 to Year 6) complete this agreement every September to ensure that we all are reminded of what makes LPS great.
