Close your eyes and think of a favourite place or memory. Take 2 minutes, longer if you wish, to imagine you are there. Think about what can you see, hear, smell, touch and taste. Take a few moments to reflect on how this imagining of your place or memory has made you feel and think about. Perhaps there are feelings of happiness, gratitude, excitement or calm.
When you are ready, see if you can complete the 8 statements underneath based on those senses, feelings and thoughts. If you don’t feel inspired to complete them all, just complete the ones you feel drawn to.
