Play, Learn and Grow Together

Summer

During our LPS Review Week activities this year, the AoLE leader and iTeam Pupil Voice Group undertook 'workbook looks' and spoke with learners from each year group about Science & Technology throughout the school feeding their findings back regarding the progress made against the Science & Technology Action Plan.

Main Objective: Develop planning for scientific enquiry skills throughout the school.

During the Summer term, there has been an improved focus for planning for scientific enquiry throughout the school, across the Progression Steps. The standard of work produced from the enquiries continues at a high quality- at or above expected levels, with many cross-curricular and relevant themes. This has benefited the children by enabling the learners to become more engaged with the scientific enquiry planning process and more independent, confident learners within this area.
