Please donate your unwanted books...
Do you have unwanted childrens books at home gathering dust? If so, we love to receive books that families have grown out of!
We were overwhelmed with the success of our last Book Sale and now only have a handful of books left to sell. We would love to put another sale on next half term so if you have books at home we would be very pleased to take them off your hands. Simply pop them by the office and we will ensure they are quarantined in plenty of time for our next sale!
Thank you so much for your support!

The PTFA:
We are very fortunate at our school to have a PTA that is, and has been, such an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the PTFA has raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school in general.
Help Our School Raise School Funds:
All parents and members of the school community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available.
Our PTA committee meets regularly (usually once a term)to arrange fundraising events. We also have a number of parents who although they do not attend our meetings can always be counted on to support us at events. Many of our events would be unable to run without them and for this assistance we are very grateful. If you feel you could help us in this way please contact any member of the PTFA.
How We Raise Money:
Like most PTFAs, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some of our most popular events are the Christmas and Summer Fetes, Discos and Cake day and Ice cream sales.
We are always grateful for any additional suggestions for fundraising ideas.
How we use the funds raised:

How We Get Information to You
PTFA communications are included in the School monthly newsletters as necessary. This can include information on forthcoming events and dates plus requests for assistance, when we are planning large events.
How You Can Get Involved
There are lots of ways you can help and support your child through the PTFA.
Offering to help before events or at other times during the year is so valuable – it really is a case of ‘many hands make light work’. It doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, or even if you can’t come into school. There are always little jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare e.g. wrapping gifts, preparing raffle tickets etc. We really couldn’t achieve what we do without the unseen ‘army of help’ that exists in school.
You can of course if you feel able, volunteer to be a Committee Member. You can help by letting us know if you have any contacts or skills we could use – everything is potentially valuable to us. Perhaps the company you work for offers a match-funding scheme?
Thank you for taking the time to visit our webpages. We hope you now know a little more about your Parent Teacher Friends Association. On behalf of all the children we would like to thank you for your very valuable support which enriches their learning experiences and makes their time in school so enjoyable.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch with us on our email address below, or ask via any member or the school office.
