Numeracy

We have been learning about tessellation and exploring which common 2D shapes can tessellate.

Today we got hands on with 2D shapes! We cut them out, folded them and explored their lines of symmetry.

We have been studying place value and creating pictures using the Dienes blocks. Afterwards, we calculated the quantities of hundreds, tens, and units and found the whole number.

We have been learning about place value and have been working on finding 1 more and 1 less of a given number.

We have been continuing sequences of numbers in the playground.
