The children have been practicing writing the sound t for teeth in the salt. We have been learning how to keep our teeth clean and the children enjoyed choosing a sound pebble and matching it to the teeth tray, ready to use the toothbrush and toothpaste to brush the sound away to keep the teeth clean.

Wraparound have been learning about the role of being a post person out in the community and in the post office. In the role play area they had the opportunity to chose a writing template such as cards and letters. Check out theses little learners writing out letters and postcards using the cards for support. Once the customer has finished writing their mail, it's time to place them in the envelope and send off to the weighing station. The customer signed out by writing their name on the post office form. The children had fun using the stamps in the paint to print on the envelopes and in the math's area they recognized the numbers on the stamps and matched it to the numbered envelope.
