Christmas

Wraparound had a special visit from Eric the Elf. He sent a letter, some decorations and picture cards for the children to help him remember how to decorate a Christmas tree for Santa at the North Pole. The children ordered the tree cards using the wow words first, then, next and finally. They had fun exploring the snow, making a snow home for the polar bears and getting messy painting their hands to create tree leaves.

Finding a pair

We learned facts about reindeers and then made a reindeer of our own.

We had fun making reindeer biscuits. Yummy!

The children drew a reindeer on Jit paint. They touched the spot icon to choose the different colours to create their picture.

The wraparound children had a very special surprise. They found some giant red glitter footprints in their class. They followed them to see what was at the end of the foot print trail. We all checked our feet, but they were not ours. They were too big! The children had a tiny little letter sent to them thanking them for helping Eric the Elf remember how to decorate a Christmas tree and there were golden chocolate coins left behind from Santa saying thank you. The children were very excited.
