Numeracy

The children used the blocks to build towers. They then used the torch to make a shadow and found out that shadows can be different sizes. Some are big and some are small.

In class the children played in a shiny shop with their friends. The children chose the object they wanted to buy and counted penny coins to the same amount on the price tag.

During this activity the children are learning to recognise numbers and they counted the blocks to build towers to the same number on the card they chose.
