This week in phonics we have been learning the sounds r and m.

Your homework is to:

  1. Say the Sounds:

    • Say r like rabbit 🐇

    • Say m like mouse 🐭

    • Try the Jolly Phonics actions if you know them!

  2. Read These Words:

    • r: run, red, rabbit, rug, rip

    • m: mat, man, mop, mud

  3. Write Some Words:

    • Practice writing at least 3 words with r and 3 words with m.

    • Say the sounds as you write them.

⭐ Challenge:

  • Can you find things at home that start with r or m? Draw them and write the first sound.
