In Wraparound we have been talking about our feelings. Today with our friends we used the feeling cards to created different emotions. We then played a game for our friends to guess how we are feeling. This was fun! 

During carpet time we made a list of qualities the children thought would make a good friend. We then listened to a storybook related to our friendship theme. The children made some delicious friendship cakes in the play dough of different shapes that symbolized a different trait.

The children thoroughly enjoyed becoming fire fighters in the role play area. They were hard at work! Taken emergency call, putting out fires. Busy on the computer, helping the fire fighters find where the fires are in Llangyfelach village. 

This week we have been learning about visiting the dentist. We watched a video clip to help us find out what happens. The dental surgery has been very busy with check ups and we have been helping the children take care of their teeth.

Wraparound children explored our role play hospital and they enjoyed becoming  doctors and nurses and finding out what they do. The hospital had a baby ward, appointment area and an x-ray department. The children took turns to be a doctor using the stethoscope and the caring nurses put on  the banges on the babies. They had a lot of fun acting out the role.
