MATHS HOMEWORK 8.6.14

This week we have been doing very tricky maths! We have been learning about half turns, quarter turns and full turns! We made a track for a friend to follow. We directed them using quarter, half and full turns. We also used right and left. 

Try this at home! Practise knowing your left and right. Direct a family member using the following directions:

• quarter turn to the right/left
• half turn
• full turn
• forward

TIMES TABLES

Next Friday we will be having a times table quiz.

Green group - 2, 5 and 10 times tables.

Red group - 3 times table.

Blue group - 2,3,5 and 10 times table (plus 4's for those who know it)

FINAL MATHS HOMEWORK

Over the next few weeks practise the skills you have developed this year:

• times tables (2,3,4,5,10)
• doubles (2-10)
• half of a number (2-20)
• adding two amounts and giving change
• adding using the column method (borrowing)
