Mathematics

This week we have been identifying and sorting coins. Play the online toyshop game and pay for items. Some of you may want to choose the 'one coin' option, while others may want to choose 'mixed coins'.

Set up your own shop at home using items from your house (food, toys etc) and make your own price tags.  Role-play shopkeeper and customer with your family using 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p. 

Phonics

Some of you may want to see how fast you can identify letter sounds using Phoneme Pop! Others may like to practise identifying the first, middle and final sound in words when playing Wellington's CVC game.

Topic

This week we have been learning about what seeds need to grow and survive. Here is a video to help you learn more about this. Can you create a poster to share with your teacher, explaining what plants need to grow and survive? Please bring your poster into school Friday to share in Friday Reflection. 

We have also been learning about how to keep safe in the sun and at the beach. Could you watch this video and choose to complete one of the following;

• Draw a picture telling your class how to stay safe in the sun.
• Draw a picture and write a sentence telling telling your class how to stay safe in the sun.
