The children had pictures of different items that you would find in a school. They had to identify whether they were only used in the past, only used now or whether the object is used both now and in the past and sort them accordingly.
In this activity the children looked at pictures of different types of chores. The children needed to sort the pictures into 2 columns, 1 being chores that we carry out today and the other being chores that used to be completed in the past.
With this activity, the children looked and old and new school equipment. The children had to identify what they knew and colour in all of the new pieces of equipment.
For this activity, we spoke about the different modes of transport we have today and what they thought they would have had in the past. We then looked at the sheet and identified the ones that are from the past and ones that we use today.
