Holi: Festival of colour

We have loved researching and learning all about the festival Holi. We decided we wanted to make Holi T shirts for our LPS Spring Festival. We discussed how we could do this and decided we would make them bright and colourful! We have learnt that Holi is a very important spring festival, and we are looking forward to wearing our T shirts during our own LPS Spring Festival. 

After our recent visit to Llangyfelach Church, we decided to create our very own piece of art by drawing and painting it. We are looking forward to displaying them in our classroom and in our Spring Festival. 

Dance and creative movement feature heavily in many festivals around the world. We worked hard to investigate this. This inspired us to create our very own dance. We used moves and music from a Chinese New Year and Lion dance. We are going to make it even better by adding our own music. 

We enjoyed drawing and painting beautiful pictures of Llangyfelach Church after our visit. We also worked hard to make a pinata ready for our LPS Spring Festival.
