Personal and Social Development

The children were talking about  summer time and said how much they liked ice cream, so they decided to change the role-play area to an ice-cream parlor. They were very excited to play together, taken turns and taken orders. They decide who would be the customers and who was going to serve. The children asked many questions during their imaginative play. The children enjoyed creating their own scenarios of real- life experiences.

We had fun playing a game called What's Missing. The children had to identify all the summer items in the tray before they were covered. Once the children closed their eyes an item was removed. When the cloth was taken off the children had to work together to think which item is missing? They were very good at playing this game.
