The children have been learning about measure during their activities. They used the touch screen to choose the tallest and shortest animal. They then used the cubes to measure the height and length of the animals and counted the cubes to find out how big they were. 

The children were learning all about measuring using different materials and in different ways. In the play dough the children measured the length of the worms using counters and then put them in order of size, biggest to smallest. Then they went off to measure their hands. First we talked about the tallest point of their hand before they enjoyed drawing around their hands to use the tallest part of the hand to line up the counters.
