The children enjoyed exploring the role-play area with their friends. They were busy helping customers choose toys and paying for them. The children were busy talking on the telephone, taking telephone messages and writing their toy orders. The children used the mark-making area to create their own toy price list for the customers. 

Wraparound children chose a fairytale story, The Three Little Three Pigs, for Mrs Harris-Griffiths to read. She asked the children if they would like to re-tell the story with her. They enjoyed joining in with the repetitive part of the wolf and the actions. Throughout the story, the children ordered the picture cards and numbers in order. Listen below to find out about the brick house.
