Maths

This week in maths we have been looking at adding two 2 digit numbers by counting on. Why not have a go at the catapult game Count On Catapult || To know the bonds of 10 and bridge to the next friendly number - mobile friendly and practise counting on to the next multiple of 10. You could even ask a grown up to give you some questions to try.

Spellings

Practise your spellings for our quiz on Friday. Why don't you try using some of the strategies that we use in class, like roll the dice spellings or pyramid spellings?

Topic

Task 1 – The Bay Magazine wants to feature an article on the history of Mumbles. Can you help them research interesting facts, changes to the area and any major events that have occurred there?

Task 2 – Now that we have found out what marine life lives in Swansea Bay, why not get creative and create some artwork/craft of one of these creatures?
