    • Barnaby Bear at Swansea Bay

     

    We had lots of fun helping Barnaby Bear drive to his picnic. We gave him directions of left, right, forwards and backwards.

    Barnaby Bear wanted to go on a journey to the beach. We persuaded him to take us with him and we made a bus for the journey!

    Barnaby Bear entered a pebble stacking competition and he wanted our help to build the tallest tower. We did a great job matching the numbers!

    After a great day at the beach, Grandma Bear brought us some photos from her holiday. We have enjoyed looking at them and comparing how they are different to Barnaby's. We talked about things we could do at the beach in the past and things we can do now.

    Barnaby Bear had fun making wet prints in the sand. We have helped him by creating our own prints using sea creature sand moulds.

    We've had great fun making our own 3D sea creatures using recyclable materials! 

    Messy Monday fun!

    Barnaby Bear wanted to go to the beach for the day. We have helped him to pack his beach bag and thought about what he might need to stay safe and healthy!

    Barnaby Bear enjoyed telling us all about what he found during his trip to the beach.

    Barnaby Bear has a hole in his bucket and all of his treasures have fallen out into the sea! We have helped him to work out what has happened to them and we have helped him decide what treasures float and what treasures sink.

    Barnaby Bear needs to help keep his drink cool in the sun. We made him some ice and had lots of fun experimenting with the ice!

    Barnaby collected us lots of shells on his trip to the beach. We have helped him sort them in size order!

    We have enjoyed making healthy plates for Barnaby Bear's picnic

    Jelly fish cut and stick 

    We have enjoyed making our own suitcase ready for our holidays. We thought about hot and cold countries and what we may need to take. 

    We have had lots of fun transforming our outdoor area for a beach fun day! We enjoyed some sand, water, bubbles and water balloons. The sun even came out for us! 

    Barnaby Bear wanted us to help him make his own sea shanty. We had lots of fun!
