    2D Shapes 

    To complete this activity, the children needed to identify the shapes in the picture and then use them to copy the image and create their own version. 

    Complete the Egg 

    For this activity, the children needed to count the holes in the Numicon on the top half of the egg and match it to the correct number on the bottom half of the egg. 

    Number Recognition 

    In this activity the children needed to roll the dice and identify the number shown. Once that was done, that they needed to cover that number on the card using the bear counters. 

    How long/tall is the dinosaur? 

    To complete this activity, the children needed to put cubes along the length or height of the dinosaur then count them to work out how long or tall they are. Once they had worked that out they needed to find the correct number on the flash card to put next to the dinosaur. 

    Count The Passengers 

    For this activity the children worked in pairs. One child put a certain number of teddy bears into the bus for the other child to count and then find the correct number card to match it. 

    Teddy Bear Patterns

    For this activity, the children had to complete the pattern. They started by identifying the colours in the pattern, they then had to work out what came next and find that colour teddy bear to finish the pattern off. 

    Size Ordering 

    The children were given 5 eggs of various sizes, they were asked to put them in order from the smallest to the biggest. 

    Match the Dots to the Correct Number 

    To complete this activity, the children needed to count the number of dots on the top half of the egg and the find the correct number on the bottom half to pair it with. 

    Number Fans 

    Throughout this activity, the children needed to use the number fans to show a particular number that had been chosen. Once they had found it, they had to count the same number of animals to put with the number on the fan.
